Abstract
The rapid development of technology and human resources today makes business competition to increase. One industry that is experiencing intense competition is batik. The number of batik centers originating from several cities in Indonesia has made competition between traditional batik has increased, while on the other hand there is a threat of competition from batik originating from overseas, namely China and Vietnam which have low prices. This phenomenon is also experienced by the batik industry in Semarang City which is currently experiencing a decline. Semarang Batik 16 in Semarang Batik 16 never reached the annual target as stated, namely 1500 pieces of batik cloth. To help improve sales, researchers intend to find out what affects the batik sellers in Semarang and get results. Product quality and brand image influence purchasing decisions, while prices do not affect purchasing decisions.
