Abstract

Futsal athletes need the intake of nutritious foods and consume more carbohydrates and proteins compared to other substances. Good nutrition knowledge is needed to determine the food ingredients to be chosen. The perception of futsal athletes who do not have sufficient background and nutritional knowledge will assume that "the important thing is fulfilling food" without knowing the nutrients contained in it. The method used in this study include measuring the Body Mass Index (BMI) by dividing weight in kilograms with the square of height in meters, nutritional status known after measuring the Body Mass Index (BMI), Nutrition Adequacy Rate (RDA) obtained after knowing the amount of food intake consumed such as calories, carbohydrates, protein and fat then divided by the Nutrition Adequacy Rate (RDA) according to MOH (2013) and knowing the amount of food intake from futsal athletes through 24 hour diet recall interviews conducted 3 times a week with provisions are not made during harvest, holidays and religious holidays. Through descriptive statistical analysis, respondents' data such as name, age, gender, nutritional perception and knowledge of Psychology Unnes futsal athletes totaling 30 people were obtained. The purpose of this study was to determine the nutritional perception and knowledge of Psychology Unnes futsal athletes and find out the correlation between perception and knowledge of nutrition with nutritional intake of Psychology Unnes futsal athletes through Spearman Correlation Test. Most respondents with a total of 20 people have a normal nutritional status with a percentage of 66.7%. The results of the questionnaire perception and nutritional knowledge of respondents is known as many as 19 people with a percentage of 63.3% have a good relationship with the value of knowledge is not good perception value. Protein food intake from respondents has a good classification AKG of 86%. Spearman correlation analysis in this study does not have a significant correlation between the variables that are connected.
