Abstract

This research is aimed to design a dynamic and effective website in order to fulfil Gereja Kebon Dalem Semarang’s needs of information. The website consists of a lot of menus, for example: home, latest news, daily reflection, contact, guest, forum, etc. However the menus are adjusted with the users’ needs. After designing the web, socialization must be carried out. Socialization strategy include promoting and introducing the web to the user or society. In the operationalization, the web is handled by three administer which has their own access to edit the web. The using of website as an online media for communicating information could make a betterment for the prior information system which was conventional. Thus, could increase the services and performance of Gereja Kebon Dalem Semarang to the society. Users could look for daily reflections which are updated everyday. PHP application with MySQL database could replace database storage system in Gereja Kebon Dalem Semarang which still use Microsoft Excel to store data.
