Abstract

This study aims to examine differences in the effect of feedback and rewards on the empowerment of individuals and its implications for their motivation and performance in condition of high and low self-esteem. The population used in this study were all students of Catholic University Faculty of Economics and Business Soegijapranata progam as Accounting Studies. The method used in this study is the experimental method using random sampling. Analysis of this data using test equipment SEM with progam AMOS 5 version student to test the hypothesis in this study. The results of this study shown that the value of GFI is 0,948 and CMIN/DF value is 2,063 and it means that models are fit to tested. Result of this research indicate different results on the condition of high and low self esteem. The result in the conditions of high self esteem, feedback significant positive effect on the dimension impact and increase motivation while in the conditions of low self esteem, rewards significant positive effect on the dimension self determination and increase motivation. This reseacrh result accept all the hypothesis with the significance 5%.
