Abstract
Lady Gaga is a female pop singer who is very phenomenal in her performances. Her performance contains rock and sexuality especially on her way of dressing. The writer uses the term Girl Power, taken from Feminism, to interpret the performances of Lady Gaga through her videos containing rock, theatrical and sexuality performances. The aim of this study is to explain how the aspects of Girl Power are presented in Lady Gaga’s performances. Findings of this study are some aspects of Girl Power manifested in the exposure of rock and sexuality parts in her performance; her action to break the rules in the way of dressing on the stage and public, she dresses like a man in her performances, her version of girl culture faithfully imitated by her fans. The aspects of rock and sexuality; her rock dress, the masculinity of her in rock performances, the theatrical performances, and sexual dress design.
