Abstract
Mike Banning is the main character in Olympus has Fallen directed by Antonie Fuqua (2013). The movie tells about Olympus, the secure code for White House and Mike Banning who worked in White House as a private security for the president. Banning tries to save the president from the terrorists who hijack Olympus and kidnap the president. This thesis analyzes Mike Banning’s characteristics as a hero using Greek Hero aspects in Mythological approach. The analysis shows that Mike Banning possess the Greek hero elements in his characteristics.
