Abstract

Communication Technology has spread widely all around the world. It seems like communication technology becomes a primary need for most people. In addition, student also uses communication technology to support their learning. The aims of this study are to know the perceptive belief about the use of technology by students of Theresiana Immersion Senior High School. This study also aims to find out what communication technologies do students used to learn language and how do students use communication technology to learn English. The writer used three close-ended questions and 55 items in questionnaire concerning Theresiana Immersion Program students’. The writer distributed the questionnaires to 109 senior high school students. She also used SPSS 16 program to find the results. The results of this research show that: first students of Theresiana Immersion Senior High School believed that communication technology affect their language learning. Second applications that students often used were Music Player, YouTube, Google Search, Instagram, Line, and BBM. Third the students frequently used their communication technology to do the school activities
