Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empirik hubungan antara pola asuh otoriter orangtua dengan perilaku bermain game online. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah ada hubungan yang positif antara antara pola asuh otoriter orangtua dengan perilaku bermain game online. Semakin otoriter pola asuh orangtua, semakin tinggi perilaku bermain game online. Sebaliknya semakin rendah pola asuh otoriter orangtua, semakin rendah perilaku bermain game online. Subyek penelitian adalah 69 remaja dengan rentang usia 12-21 tahun yang bermain di warung internet WAR.NET yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel incidental sampling.
