Abstract
This Research title is Identification of the Inhibiting Factors of Interest Kamoro Tribes to the Importance of The Human Resource Development Through Formal Education. Kamoro Tribes has been understood with the long time limit estimation, before 1940 . Kamoro Tribes in 1876 had made contact with foreign, formerly the Surabaya Expedition when the Sultan of Tidore as a leader. The coming of the Dutch Catholic missionary to the region of Mimika in 1927 brought the changed to the Kamoro tribes. Since the time, many of Kamoro tribes took education in Kokonao, West Mimika. The missionary also made travels to the village where the Kamoro tribes alive. The results many Kamoro People than be succeed, even became head of the provincial in Irian Jaya at the time. The spirit of school and the interested to found knowledge then setback in the fantastic condition. Since 1997 the number of students down drastic continuously. The last note in the 2011 there are only 10 students who took scholarship of Lembaga Pengembangan
