Abstract

Abstract This study is aimed to investigate parents' altitudes towards the use of mobile phones to Enhance English learning. This research used mixed method. A questionnaire consiststs of 15 statements were distributed to 42 parents or fisrt year students at Terang bangsa School The questionnaire was devidcd into three parts based on the parents' previous experience. expectation and beliefs. The result shows that in general the parents have positive atitude as the mean score is 2.08572.Based on the interview with five parents it can be concluded that they realize that their children like to hold their mobile phones for playing games or for communicating although they know that the mobile phones can be used by teachers or by students to improve their English
