Abstract
E-learning have been playingthe important role in the education world. Alot of online courses and training could befound and listed in the search engine.However, there are some social media basedon the education which offers more benefits.Edmodo is the one of the social media whichis actively promote to be used by the education practitioners. It is a populareLearning platform which is used by more orless 6.6 million educators and studentsworldwide [4]. However, the requirement for the studentsto have another Facebook-like account willbe one of the barriers. The complete featuresof Moodle and other Learning ManagementSystem software will be the used to compareEdmodo before they decide to join in. Eventhough Edmodo have a lot of features for Elearning, Edmodo should have more benefitsand unique features to interact the existing and prospective users. In this paper, the survey and comparisons between Edmodo, Facebook, and Moodle will be analyzed to see the student preferences in using the E-Learning software. The results will be used to formulate the strategy if the institutions want to encourage their lecturers and students to use Edmodo.
