Abstract

Every day the company produces rice, but a lot of rice is not sold. It is made the company did not got the maximum profit. To solve this problem, researcher created an AI program to predict total sales and stock using the backpropagation algorithm. Then, divided into 2 stages, namely training data and testing data. The data used in this study is the company's sales data of PT. Gajah Bintang Utama, from 1 April 2019 to 30 March 2020, which totals 365 data. Based on this research that is using the backpropagation algorithm, the results of an accuracy is 92.4832308%, and MSE of total sales and stocks is 3.7% and 3%. These results can be obtained with a max epoch of 5000 for total sales and stock, hidden layer of 11 for total sales and stock, learning rate of 0.9 for total sales and 0.3 for stock, and target error of 0.0009 for total sales and 0.0014 for stock.
