Abstract
Jatiluhur Reservoir is located in Jatiluhur District, Purwakarta Regency, West Java Province (± 9 km from the center of Purwakarta City). Jatiluhur Dam is the largest dam in Indonesia. The water source of this reservoir comes from the Citarum Watershed. Jatiluhur Reservoir is dominant with fish farming using floating net cages (KJA). The large number of floating net cages has a negative impact on the reservoir environment. Feeding systems in fish farming in the Jatiluhur reservoir are using a pumping system. Or given excessively. This can lead to water pollution because not all feed will be eaten by fish. The purpose of this study was to determine the water quality and quality of fish in floating net cage fisheries in Jatiluhur Reservoir. The method used to test the water content by the thermogravimetric method, ash content with oven, protein content with the kjedhal method, fat content using the soxhlet method, carbohydrate content with the method of carbohydrate by different and test for heavy metal lead (Pb) and iron (Fe) by ignition method and water quality tests include physical tests such as temperature, odor, color, turbidity and chemical tests such as DO (Dissolved Oxygen), COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand), BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand). The results showed that the water content of red tilapia was 79.24% and black tilapia was 79.09%, the ash content of red tilapia was 1.16% and black tilapia was 1.38%, the protein content of red tilapia was as big as 14.39% and black tilapia of 14.72%, fat content of red tilapia is 1.45% and black tilapia is 1.76%, carbohydrate content of red tilapia is 3.74% and black tilapia is 3 , 03% and the heavy metal content of red tilapia of 3.72 ppm and black tilapia of 3.78 ppm and red tilapia Fe of 38.59 ppm and black tilapia of 37.91 ppm. Water quality test results showed for physical tests, namely temperature at Zone 1 water temperature 300C, Zone 2 water temperature 300C, Zone 3 water temperature 300C, Inlet DAM water temperature 29,40C and at Outlet PDAM water temperature 27,70C, then found the smell of sulfur and stinging iron in the inlet and outlet dam, for the water color in the Jatiluhur reservoir is green, turbidity in zone 1 is 1.00, zone 2 is 0.75, zone 5 is 0.67, at DAM inlet is 1 and at outlet PDAM of 3.67 all on the NTU scale (Nephelometric Turbidity Unit) and for chemical tests such as DO (Dissolved Oxygen) were obtained in zone 1 of 9.00 mg / L, zone 2 of 6.00 mg / L zone 3 of 8, 00 mg / L, DAM inlet of 9.00 mg / L and at DAM outlets of 10.33 mg / L, COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) zone 1 of 19.00 mg / L, zone 2 of 18.50 mg / L zone 3 is 25.67 mg / L, DAM inlet is 26 mg / L and at DAM outlets is 20.33 mg / L, BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand) zone 1 is 5.70 mg / L, zone 2 is 5 , 55 mg / L zone 3 of 8.33 mg / L. In conclusion, the quality of fish in the waters of Jatiluhur Reservoir is nutritionally compliant with the standard from the table of 2017 nutritional composition except for proteins with lower levels but the tilapia in the Jatiluhur reservoir is polluted by lead metal (Pb) exceeding what is permitted by SNI. Water quality in the Jatiluhur reservoir is sufficient to meet the requirements for the cultivation of freshwater fish.
