Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between interpersonal trust and forgiveness in marriage life. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a positive relationship between interpersonal trust and forgiveness in marriage life. The higher the interpersonal trust the higher the forgiveness given, and vice versa. The research method was quantitative. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling with subjects totaling 40 people who had been cheated by their partners. The measuring instrument used in this study is the forgiveness scale and interpersonal trust scale. The technique used to test this hypothesis is the Product Moment correlation technique. The results of this study indicate a very significant positive relationship which is indicated by the value of rxy = 0.727 (p <0.01). Based on the results of the analysis of the data shows that the hypothesis is accepted. Keywords: Forgiveness in marriage life, Interpersonal trust
