Abstract
Today's public health is a very important thing to consider. Some people choose to go to a private doctor for treatment. But some people do not know the location of the nearest private practice doctor and emergency room, and people often experience long queue problems because they still have to register manually. Therefore a thesis entitled "Nearest Doctor Application (Doctor Nearby) Based on Android" was made. This study aims to produce and design applications with the design of the Android platform so that it can more easily find the nearest general practitioner, specialist doctor, and emergency room; create an application with an attractive design and provide features such as the nearest doctor, a list of doctors who open a practice in the area of Semarang, and the nearest; create applications that can order queues online. Data collection techniques in this study using the Pre-Test and Post-Test questionnaires given to respondents to be filled. Respondents in this study were people who were in the age range of 16-35 years, amounting to 45 people. The results of this study are that the Doctor Nearby application is easy to use and provides information about several facilities so users will continue to use the Doctor Nearby application.
