Abstract

The growth of the population of Semarang city every year is very rapid. The addition of population not only comes from natural growth through birth, but also comes from the impact of enormous urbanization. Semarang City which has industrial centers is the target of the presence of workers from outside the area to settle in the city of Semarang. So from that the waste produced will also increase if it is not balanced with good and correct waste management. To overcome this, the role of the community is needed to participate in protecting the environment, not littering. Social entrepreneurship in the form of a waste bank is very much needed by the community today to protect the environment and also to increase the community's income from waste that is no longer used.
