Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between brand minded lifestyle with consumptive behavior among students. The subjects used in this study were 83 students. Sampling is done by incidental sampling technique. Data collection in this study uses two scales, namely the scale of consumptive behavior and the scale of lifestyle brand minded. The results of data analysis with product monent correlation techniques obtained results r = 0.788 with p <0.01, which means that there is a very significant relationship between lifestyle brand minded with consumptive behavior. The higher the lifestyle brand minded the higher the consumptive behavior. In this study the effective contribution of lifestyle brand minded with consumptive behavior was 62.1%.
