With humans as resources that the company has, it can not be denied that they will make mistakes in doing their job. If employees make many mistakes, the company's goals will be difficult to achieve. This behaviour is commonly referred to information checking behaviour. So that employees can do as desired by the company which is to achieve its goals, the company can provide reinforcement or motivation. There are three results from this study, first is individuals who are given monetary reward or punishment will produce a lower error rate compared to individuals who are not given monetary reward or punishment. Second, individuals who are given monetary reward or punishment will need more time to check their work compared to individuals who do not get monetary reward or punishment. Thirdy, individuals who are given monetary reward or punishment will need a shorter time to complete their tasks compared to individuals who are not given monetary reward or punishment.
