Abstract

This research purpose is to find the positive influence between work performance with responsibility, experience, autonomy, locus of control and professionalism. In this research, work performance identified as dependent variable while responsibility, experience, autonomy, locus of control and professionalism as independent variables. With Herzberg Motivational Theory as theoretical basis, motivation divided as external namely autonomy and professionalism while the internal factors are responsibility, experience and locus of control. The samples of this research are auditors that work on Public Accounting Firms on Semarang City. Questionnaire are distributed to 28 Public Accounting Firms with 71 total questionnaires distributed. Statistical method that used in this research was linear regression. The result of this research indicate that experience, autonomy, locus of control and professionalism are not affecting work performance while responsibility positively affecting work performance Keyword: responsibility, experience, autonomy, locus of control, professionalism, auditors
