While, students’ GPA and students’ majors in Senior High Schools were analysed using SPSS v.20.0 to get inferential analysis. The results show that the correlation between students’ GPA and majors in Senior High Schools was relatively weak and having negative correlation. Besides the educational background from Senior High Schools, there are other factors such as experience, motivation, and age that influence learner’s success in second language acquisition as well.
