Abstract

Burnout is a mental stress syndrome that affects a person, which is characterized by three tendencies: emotional exhaustions, reduced personal accomplishment and depersonalization. The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the influence of role ambiguity, role conflict, role overload, personality type, individual work environment and organizational justice on burnout. The research sample used was 48 respondents from 15 Public Accounting Firms in Semarang. The research method used was purposive sampling method, the data collected was obtained from field studies in the form of questionnaires. The hypothesis was tested using multiple regression analysis techniques. The results of data analysis show that role ambiguity, role conflict, roleo verload, personality type, individual work environment and organizational justice against burnout.
