Abstract
The purpose of this study was to overcome the problems of accounting information systems at PT. Transindo Multi Cargo. With the existence of a new accounting system, it is expected that employees or employees can be easier in the process of inputting data and can present an accurate and timely income statement so that decision making can run smoothly and surely. In this study, the object of research used by researchers is PT. Multi Cargo Transindo is located in Mutiara Marina 3c shophouse, Semarang, Central Java. PT. Multi Cargo Transindo which is a company engaged in the delivery of goods or logistics. In this study the system used was Rapid Application Development (RAD) with a prototype method The results of this study are systems that have been designed to provide convenience, improve time efficiency and performance effectiveness, precisely and accurately in information retrieval, overcoming existing weaknesses in PT. Transindo Multi Cargo. For PT. Multi Cargo Transindo, companies can access the database in adding, changing or deleting data, by logging in the username and password first.
