Abstract

Daily needs shopping sometimes requires extra time for some people. Also sometimes a store located quite far or people do not even know where the location of the nearest store. Online shop is the solution of this problem that is commonly done in order to get daily needs easily. Here, user can also compare the price from many store. This project proposes the use of Google Maps API and Firebase to create an online shopping application. Google Maps API is used manage the map to get the nearest store location from customer based on customer’s current location. And Firebase realtime database as the storage of data this application. This project has 2 applications one for store admin and one for customer. When a customer use the application, nearby stores will be displayed on a map based on the radius set in the application and may make orders at a store. The admin application will get the orders data with order status “Pending”. If the ordered goods already delivered, the order status will be changed to “Terkirim”. Keyword: GIS, Google Maps API, Android, Firebase, Online Shop.
