Abstract
Chatbot is an artificial intelligence agent program capable of simulating conversations between one or more users by using a knowledge base. The knowledge base is one of the basic sources of computer knowledge necessary to understand, formulate, and solve a problem experienced by a computer in executing a data. The knowledge base that usually used in this chatbot is AIML database. AIML is one type of knowledge base that can be developed widely because the functions of the tags used quite simple and easy. By using the function of the tags contained in AIML and also PHP, then logically can be developed a chatbot that can interpreted the knowledge base on AIML. The result from this project, the program can processed the input sentence from user and searching the answer based from the input sentence from the user. Keyword: ChatBot, PHP, Artificial Intelligence, AIML, knowledge-base.
