Abstract
Banking is an important part in the financial markets because it has a role to intermediate, manage risk, provide payments and also the channels of monetary policy. The problem is a banking institution is vulnerable to internal and external shocks, and highly dependent on the credibility. This study conducts on the role of government against national banks. Bank is an institution that is a synergy between government, banks and the public as customers, will not be able to move when the left one constituent elements. Society is a key role in improving national integrity. Community role is not direct, but it is so vital in maintaining the balance, clarity and moral commitment in improving the integrity of the banking system. Independent institutions and professional representation of society, becomes a key in eliminating the abuse of authority, breach of commitments, so that the integrity of a true national banking
