Abstract
This research explains the use of financial ratios dealing with BPR decision making in distributing the credit to UKMs. This study is important because the UKM which has bright future prospect recently getting spread out. However, they are still lack of fund or capital to expand their working capital. In this research there are 5 hypotheses namely. First, the UKM liquidity ratios have positive effect in BPR credit decision making and second, suggest that UKM solvability ratios have positive effect in BPR credit decision making. Third, the UKM rentability ratios have positive effect in BPR credit decision making, and fourth, stated that UKM activity ratios have positive effect in BPR credit decision making, and last but not least, fifth stated that UKM coverage ratios have positive effect in BPR credit decision making. Those results show that liquidity ratio, solvability ratio, rentability ratio, and coverage ratio encourage empirically the use of financial ratios as an analysis in credit, while the results in activity ratio haven’t encourage empirically, nevertheless the result on those 5 hypotheses were not statistically significant in credit policy-making and the practice of BPR credit decision making.
