Abstract

Movie is a picture of past, present, and also future. What happened, what is happening, or what will happen can be presented in a movie. As the history, there was a racial discrimination happened amongst black people which now was filmed through a movie, called The Help. This thesis analyzes what kind of racial discrimination happened in The Help. For this purpose, the writer watched the movie, then interpreted it to answer the problem formulations. The writer used Library Research method to analyze the movie. The writer found some racial discrimination happened in The Help as what happened in the past.
