Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui proses penerimaan diri pada orang tua yang mempunyai anak cerebral palsy. Subjek penelitian berjumlah tiga orang yang merupakan orang tua dari anak cerebral palsy di SLB-YPAC (Sekolah Luar Biasa-Yayasan Pembinaan Anak Cacat) Semarang. Metode yng digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan tes Grafis. Hasil yang diperoleh bahwa tahapan penerimaan yang terjadi adalah anger, denial depression, dan mencapai acceptance. Proses penerimaan diri terjadi secara bervariasi satu dengan yang lainnya, sehingga tahapan dan tingkat penerimaan diri pada setiap subjek berbedabeda.
