Abstract

Renting books is not stranger in the community by providing a with range of book. Book borrower must go to a book rental place for get books to be borrowed. But the way it is less effective because who wants to borrow the book could have been borrowed by another borrower, so the borrower that the book wasting her time. Gammu is an application that can be used to read and write SMS n etc. These applications are often used to SMS gateway which is connected to the database. Gammu will process incoming sms as keywords and will match with the database if the sms that have the same keyword then the information from these keywords gammu will be processed and sent back to the sender’s number in the form of sms. Book rental system will be more effective if it uses gammu as a sms gateway. Tenants book with SMS can get information about the book ou want if it’s borrowed or not borrowed by the borrower’s other book, so that the tenant does not waste his time.
