Abstract

Matrix is an arrangement of numbers (elements) are arranged in rows and columns so that the rectangular shape. The matrix is usually denoted in the form of numbers eg Matrix A, Matrix B, Matrix C and so forth. Many of its number of rows and columns of a matrix to determine the size of the matrix, the so-called ordo matrix or dimension matrix. This application will make some operation on the matrix. Among others, addition, multiplication, and transpose the matrix. The sum of the matrix can be done if the rows and columns have the same amount (same dimensions). If the number of rows and columns are equal then the sum of the matrix can be done. Matrix multiplication may be done with the same dimensions or the same order. Suppose the order of 3x3 or 2x2. If the number of different orders then the matrix multiplication can not be done. The basic principles of matrix multiplication is a row in matrix A will be multiplied by a column in the matrix B. Transpose matrix will change rows into columns and columns become rows. This application will use the data structure linked list as its temporary storage media .
