Abstract

Phone book application is a program for storing names and family relationships. In this program can save, edit, delete and search for family names and relations that have been stored in text files for storage. In the storage process will use the edit distance algorithm to determine whether the data to be stored already exists or not. Algorithm leveinstein edit distance or distance is an algorithm that compares the words with the words and find the distance difference between the two words are compared.
