Abstract

Automatic text summary is an application that is able to summarize a text and produce a summary that can be used directly without any process a summary of the results of the editing, preparation of a summary that takes the most important part of the original text. This project will apply a brute-force algorithm and written in the programming language PHP, This project uses a brute-force algorithm, brute force algorithm will be used to compare between words in the article with the words stop word and search for key words in the sentence. This project resulted in sentences that only contain keywords only, so that the resulting article discusses a more concise and to the point, Results summary will be displayed in the browser. The resulting software is able to make it easier for user to knowing the essence of the sentence of an article automatically. From the test results we concluded that summary produced more appropriate to the input of a news article
