Abstract

Code-switching is a phenomenon of changing from one language to another language. In this study the writer researched the phenomenon in an English course especially in CLT. It happens between the teachers who teach and the students who follow the English course. These students do not master English yet and all of them speak Indonesian. Code-switching happens from English into Indonesian. The purpose of this research is to know what kinds of and the functions of code-switching happening in CLT.
