Abstract
This study aims to analyze implementation of a father's responsibility towards children living right after the divorce judgment, as well as factors that pose challenges and actions that can be taken to overcome these obstacles. This study is a qualitative study with normative juridical approach, involving primary data and secondary data. Analysis of data using qualitative analysis. The results of the study are (1) The responsibility of the father of the rights of children living after divorce decisions tend to be low, because of the five cases studied only one case which goes well (case 1), while the other four cases did not materialize, either from the consistency of the timing of livelihood rights of children and children living right value (cases 2-5); (2) The factors that become obstacles in the implementation of a father's responsibility towards children living right after the divorce decision is economic factors (low income), knowledge of the plaintiff and / or defendant is low, there is a less harmonious relationship between the plaintiff and the defendant after the divorce decision , and the lack of a solid legal basis of the technical implementation and compliance oversight responsibilities of the father of the rights of children living after divorce judgment; and (3) actions that can be taken to overcome the obstacles in the implementation of a father's responsibility towards children living right after the divorce judgment, among others, increasing the knowledge of the law the plaintiff and / or defendant, as well as the need to be prepared and set out specific rules governing the technical implementation and monitoring of compliance father's responsibility towards children living right after the divorce judgment.
