Abstract

The number of traffic accidents in Central Java, these are increasing in the year 2022, with a numeral of 20.143 accidents, by that accident there were 2.337 people died, 23.961 persons had a minor injury and 117 persons had a serious injury. According to the data, there’s 2755 accidents happen on the toll road. Traffic accidents came as a trauma for the persons or the victim of the accident with experience in that accident. Other than that, workplace accident in Semarang reaches 1.465 cases in early 2023. In other conditions, workplace accidents in Indonesia had the same increasement in November 2022 reaching 265,334 cases. A hospital to answer issues around the Krapyak area, with a main issue being traffic accident, working accidents and trauma experiences that happen in public in Semarang City. A hospital as a Trauma Centre with a definition of a hospital with a local concern that provides an appropriate range and format of health center. The process in this hospital is including by in-patient, and out-patients until rehabilitation of the patient in the area. Hospital with a focus on emergency services for traffic accidents, work accidents, and other trauma conditions from special patients. The behaviour of the function building is on the services that have 24 hours of services, with complete facilities such as Emergency Care Installation (IRD), ambulance, laboratory, radiology, operating room, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), rehabilitation, and pharmacy. The concern on trauma experience, working accidents, and another issue of illness in that area is being a concern of the health center in that area. The Issue of the hospital in Semarang, with the climate in the Semarang region characterized by a tropical climate with long dry and wet seasons, significantly impacts the ventilation of the outdoor environment. Therefore, the use of architectural concepts that can adopt design concepts in the Indonesian climate can be utilized, such as the Neo-Vernacular concept with the incorporation of locality in design and philosophy within the building.
