Abstract

Soegijapranata Catholic University Building located at Bendan has been standing since first the campus was introduced to the public. Additionally with the presence of a new building facility which is located in BSB City Semarang. The current useage of the Bendan Campus exhibits a lot of deficiencies regarding safety, efficience of use in the building, and zoning between public and private. The redesign of the current building will also involve the SCU campus slogan “Nyenengke” or be known as joyful learning ensuring that the users of the building to feel happy and comfortable while engaging in activities on campus. One of the buildings in Soegijapranata Catholic University known as Henricus Constant. Five Faculties are currently residing in Henricus Constant. The building has many drawbacks that needs to be addressed and fixed to ensure teaching and learning activities are carried out smoothly inside the building. The new redesign will focus on the building users aiming to prevent monotony and enhance the work effectiveness and performace of users by creating an atmosphere that provides satisfaction in all activities done inside the Henricus Constant Building. The designs of the building would follow the principle of SCU Campus that is to build an Eco Settlement Campus Area. Keywords : Redesign, Henricus Constant, eco-settlement
