Abstract

Antena mikrostrip memiliki kelebihan antara lain bentuk sederhana, ekonomis, mudah dalam pembuatannya, dan dapat diintegrasikan dengan sirkuit gelombang mikro. Namun antena ini memiliki keterbatasan dalam hal bandwidth, gain, dan pola radiasi. Keterbatasan ini dapat diatasi dengan memperbaiki struktur antena mikrostrip. Antena patch memiliki bermacam-macam polarisasi. Planar Inverted-F Antenna (PIFA) merupakan salah satu tipe antena patch. Antena ini memiliki bandwitdh sedikit lebih tinggi dan berukuran lebih kecil daripada antena patch.
