Abstract

The conflict between the local community and companies in Central Maluku can have advers eeffect sons take holders. The refore, conflict management is a key factor in creating well-being in the community. The Central Maluku Regional Unity and Political Body (Kesbangpol Malteng) of the Local Government play sasignificant role as a mediator in conflict management, particularly through mediation. The research method us edisqualitative descriptive-explanatory. The results indicate that the Central Maluku Local Government, especially Kesbangpol, implements public relations functions in line with Regulation No.30of2011, particularly in communication management. However, the conflict stages between the local community and companies in Central Maluku donot align with Simon Fisher's proposed conflict stages. Interms of conflict management, there solution of conflicts in Negeri Kobi, Maneo, and Aketernate with PT Nusa Inaa ligns with the concept proposed by Benjamin et al. Conversely, conflicts in Negeri Tananahu, Roho, Kanike, Saunulu, and KobiS adardonotalign with the same concept. Furthermore, in the mediation stage, there solution of conflicts between the local community and companies does notalign with the proposed mediation stages by Wirawanetal. Therefore, it is crucial to implement conflict management to hand le conflicts between the local community and companies in Central Maluku.
