Abstract

ABSTRACT Television is a mass media that one of the purposes is spreading culture. Mystery TV shows are one of the program that include Indonesian culture. These programs are shown in almost all Indonesian TV channels. Thq purposes of these researches are to find the audience's response and perception on mystery programs in Indonesian TV. The researcher tries to analyze the audiences r spon and perception about mystery TV show in almost Indonesian TV channels. In this study, the researcher uses quantitative method and qualitative analysis. Questionnaire is the main instrument use to collect. data from forty respondents. The result shows the audiences response ah perception to the mystery program on TV. The showing of mystery program in Indonesian TV channel gives the positive and negative response to this program. Next the researcher will find the usefillness of the mystery program. The fact, whatever of the audi nee response Ihcsc programs fill the variety of television program in Indonesia TV channe.
