Abstract
The Pattern of Exploiting on The River Basin in a Waterfront Manner by The Central Java People. Some phenomena indicated that some basin river had been used by many people, so they have the impact, whether good impact or bad impact The Studies of the basin river exploiting models are very important. to find out the Central Java waterfront concepts. The basic parameter of waterfront concept was point of view orientation. bwldmg facing onentation, activity orientation and the community perspective about the basin space. The case study had conducted at severe areas with different function, they was recreation, commercial, and settlement areas. The general results from the research was there are some different waterfront pattern with different function areas. The main cause of the difference pattern was there are different people perception about the basin space. Some people had positive perception always develop the river basin in a waterfront manners, on the other importance to socialization about the people perception of waterfront concept, from the people who had negative perception to the people who had positive perception.
