Abstract

Many businesses are born quickly which causes strong competition between many companies. Small things become very important in improving company performance. One of the most important things is, one of which is effectiveness, because effectiveness is a benchmark how good the output produced by the company is in accordance with the predetermined targets of the company (Emerson in Bantany, 2009). so effectiveness is the key in the company to achieve company goals. To support effective work, habits of doing work in the company must be built properly, because the culture in the company affects the activities in the company, if the culture in the company is good, then the resulting performance will follow in accordance with the culture that was built. Anoegrah Jaya Motor Shop is a business that is engaged in selling motorcycle spare parts, the problem faced is the condition of the store area that is not well organized and not kept clean, so that’s interferee with the work process. Based on the results of planning and simulation planning activities that have been carried out, it is concluded that through the 5S method can support the store to be more prime when compared to the initial conditions of the shop that have not been applied 5S method in the work process, the store area becomes cleaner and neater, the process of finding goods is easier, free road access, health guaranteed.
