Abstract

Art and culture have an important role to educate local wisdoms to its people. The rules, story, and appearance of each masterpiece is generally teach good things in the community to the viewers. The art and culture have been a good medium in delivering moral messages in the community. However, art and culture was delivered to the people by using the traditional way. It was not well documented to be learned by the younger generation. Limited access to materials that can be learned creates a challenge for the younger generation to know, learn, and even preserve. The actor involved in the art and culture need to learn to deliver their masterpiece using modern technology. The efforts could trigger economic benefits for the actor, not just documenting the work. This paper will describe the technical aspect of delivering local wisdom on wayang kulit or Indonesian shadow puppet by the actors using the modern technology. It should be easy to be implemented by the actors because of the sustainability reason. Their results can be the e-learning materials that can be learnt by the younger generation.
