Abstract

The aim of the presentation is to show the adaptation process of RAVLT-RUAS version. There are several theories about process of adapting a test. RAVLT-RUAS version is a version of Rey Auditory Verbal Learning Test which adapted to Indonesian language by experts from Radboud University, Nijmegen Netherlands, Atmajaya University, Jakarta, and Soegijapranata Catholic University, Semarang. Some analysis had been conducted. The results showed that 1) the words of the RAVLT-RUAS version were grouped as expected; 2) the rank of the difficulty of word memory as a u curve graph. It means that sequence of the word is in the right order, except several words. The challenges in adapting the test are 1) put the right order of the word; 2) Measuring the concurrent validity with other Indonesian version of Rey Auditory Verbal Learning Test and neuropsychological conditions; 3) Measuring the predictive validity of the test by correlating the test results with academic performance of students and work performance of workers; 4) Analyses some cognition function based on the results of the test Key words: adaptation, RAVLT, Indonesian version
