Abstract

One of the Public Relations Management task explains about how to maintain the reputation of an organization. Reputation can be obtained if the identity formed by the organization is in agreement with the image received by the public. That way, the Public Relations shows the well fuction because the relationship between internal and external can be controled according to the organization goals. That situation produces effective way of ognanization life. However, obstacle is everywhere and it is unpredictable. Even institutions that educate people to think and behave well like schools also often get problems that interfere the effectiveness of the organization's work goals. Problems that occur in organizations are called issues and crisis. Therefore the solution is called Issue and Crisis Management. Issues and crisis solutions have different programs or methods according to their level. Issue and Crisis Management every institution also has a program or method that is different according to the characteristics or identity of each institution. Therefore, in the practice of this public service it was found that the problems that occur in each school are different. The targets of this service are schools that are under the auspices of the Yayasan Alfa Omega and Yayasan Penyelenggara Ilahi Indonesia. These seminars and workshops eventually contributed to schools about issue management, crisis management, how to manage these cases and how create strategies to improve organizational reputation even after experiencing issues and crises cases. Of the twice activities at different locations and targets, based on the variety of participants from several schools both Public Relations division and School Leaders were sharing the creation and improvisation and also input for other schools about their problems. This occation also showed how solving problems that occured from their each institutions. The enthusiasm of the participants showed that the need for this activity needed to be done simultaneously.
