Abstract

Entrepreneurship develops in line with the development of businesses with risk or the creation of new businesses. Entrepreneurship in Lasem grows in line with the dynamics of batik development. Entrepreneurship in Lasem can be observed in tandem with the development of batik businesses. The batik business cycle goes up and down following market tastes too. It takes effort from batik artisans, Lasem batik entrepreneurs, and the local government to consistently develop batik businesses while preserving the noble cultural heritage of Lasem batik. Lasem batik which is an acculturation of Chinese and Javanese culture is one of the characteristics of Lasem batik which is very well known in the domestic and foreign communities. The development of the diverse batik industry in Indonesia has made intense competition that must be observed and sought various efforts so that Lasem batik continues to be in demand by consumers. Government efforts, batik craftsmen, batik entrepreneurs, CSRand USRto preserve culture are the keys to Lasem batik, which continues to be well developed and known to the public.
