Abstract
Data Komnas PA merilis jumlah tawuran pelajar tahun 2012 sebanyak 339 kasus dan memakan korban jiwa 82 orang. Tahun sebelumnya, jumlah tawuran antar pelajar sebanyak 128 kasus. Hal ini seolah sebuah ironis bahwa seorang yang terpelajar pun leluasa melakukan hal-hal yang bersifat anarkis. Tentu saja perilaku buruk ini tidak hanya merugikan orang yang terlibat dalam perkelahian atau tawuran itu sendiri tetapi juga merugikan orang lain yang tidak terlibat secara langsung. Tindak kekerasan tawuran yang terjadi di Indonesia ini sangat memprihatinkan mengingat pelaku merupakan siswa remaja kalangan SMA yang seharusnya menjadi cikal bakal masa depan generasi Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya suatu program yang tepat untuk mencegah adanya tindak kekerasan tawuran di kalangan siswa remaja. Dengan mempertimbangkan hasil data melalui survey maupun kajian data tentang target sasaran dan permasalahan yang ada, maka dibentuklah kampanye sosial “Gimme Toss” yang merupakan sebuah perancangan komunikasi visual sebagai upaya pencegahan tindak kekerasan tawuran di kalangan siswa remaja. Komnas PA’s data released a number of student brawls are 339 cases in 2012 and took the lives of 82 students. The previous year, the amount of fighting between students are 128 cases. It is ironic that as an educated man was free to do things that are anarchic. Of course, this behavior is not only disserve the involved people in a fight or brawl itself but also harmful to others who are not directly involved. Violence brawl that happen in Indonesia is very alarming considering the juvenile offender is a high school student who was supposed to be the forerunner of future generations of Indonesia. Therefore, there needs to be a proper program to prevent violence among adolescent students brawl. Taking into account the results of the data through a survey and study of the data on the target and the existing problems, then formed the social campaign "Gimme Toss" which is a visual communication design as an effort to fight violence prevention among adolescent students.
