Abstract

Collecting fishes in the aquarium for a hobby is a common activity nowadays. The core of the aquarium is the water pump to circulate its water so it can regularly be cleaned and circulated. The important thing about the aquarium for the fish is the water pH level. If the water pH level is too low or too high, it would be harmful to the fish, so the pH level must be balanced. The purpose of this project is to develop a device that automatically turns the water pump on and off based on dynamic pH level and to save the electricity consumption compared to 24 hours pump turning on so it can save electricity consumption and electricity cost for the aquarium water pump. Also, the electricity consumption comparison is calculated in this project. For the electricity consumption comparison is calculated and displayed using PHP. And for the data is stored in database MySQL for effectiveness data storing. The method for data collecting of this project to acquire the best data threshold from static pH threshold is using the Hill Climb method. There are 4 data of the static threshold pH data, the first threshold is 7.60 for lower threshold, 8.30 for upper threshold, and with the water pump speed level of 30, the second threshold is 7.70 for lower threshold, 8.40 for upper threshold, and with the water pump speed level of 30, the third threshold is 7.60 for a lower threshold, 8.30 for the upper threshold, and with the water pump speed level of 250, the fourth threshold is 7.70 for a lower threshold, 8.40 for the upper threshold, and with the water pump speed level of 250. After the best result from the 4 data is acquired, later to be used for the threshold of dynamic pH threshold program.
