Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between self-control with obedience behavior to follow school rules. Hypothesis in this study is a positive relationship between self-control and obedience behavior to follow school rules. This research was conducted in 94 students of class VIII. The method used in this research is quantitative correlational. Data collection in this study is using two scale, that is the scale of self-control and the scale of obedience behavior. Result of the analysis data with Product Moment correlation techniques obtained results for rxy= 0.618 with p <0.01, which means there is a significant positive relationship between self-control and obedience behavior to follow school rules. Thus, the hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted, that is the higher the self control, the higher the obedience behavior will be and vice versa.
