Abstract

This study aimed to determine the correlations between sexual socialization, internet pornography consumption, and casual sex. The hypotheses in this study: 1. There is correlations between sexual socialization, internet pornography consumption, and casual sex; 2. There is negative correlation between sexual socialization and casual sex; 3. There is positive correlation between internet pornography consumption and casual sex. Subjects in this study were undergraduate students. This study used three psychological scales. The scales in this study were sexual socialization instrument, internet sexual screening test, and casual sex scale. Analytical method in this study was using multiple regression with r value = 0,773 and F value = 79,978 by p<0,05. According to the result, this research can be concluded that there are correlation between sexual socialization, consuming internet pornography, and casual sex. Furthermore, the product moment correlation test between sexual socialization (X1) and casual sex behaviour (Y) has indicated that value of rx1y is -0,634 with significant coefficient 0,000 (p<0,01), which mean there is negative correlation between sexual socialization and casual sex. Moreover, the product moment correlation test between internet pornography consumption (X2) and casual sex behaviour (Y) has indicated that value of rx2y is 0,737 with significant coefficient 0,000 (p<0,01) and this result showed that there is correlation between internet pornography consumption and casual sex.
