Abstract

The research was purposed to find out whether there was a connection between religiosity with premarital sexual behavior at university student. The hypothesis of the research was the higher someone religiosity then way more lower the premarital sexual behavior at university student. The method that used in the research was quantitative research method. The subject on the research was Psychology student on a University in Semarang which amount to 75 people with an age range from 17-21 years old who lives in Semarang. Data retrieval method used was incidental sampling. Religiosity was revealed with religiosity scale and sexual behavior was revealed with sexual behavior scale. Correlation test was done with Product Moment technic which produced rxy=-0,54 with (p<0,01) which mean the hypothesis was accepted. Therefore can be concluded there negative connection between religiosity and premarital sexual behavior at university student. Religiosity has 30% of effective contribution to premarital sexual behavior Key word: religiosity, sexual behavior, premarital
